Psu and video card upgrade? - firewire card reader
DELL 8 years, I have a PC w.Intel XPS 1000R PIII 1 GHz CPU. The unit is 200W. I have a drive 2, card reader, firewire card. I bought a flat screen HD. My graphics card is a GeForce 64MB AGP. I want to upgrade in order to get as close as possible the capabilities of the monitor. I could not AGP card for 200W PSU. The minimum is 300W. My question is: If I replace the PSU with a 300-350W, is the motherboard, CPU damage? Or a graphics card w.300W need more work, since all power over the development of hardware? Thank you very much! Your help is greatly appreciated!

Frankly, if we continue to update the PC and not bother to or from a brand new PC offerings for an old man who is not worth the cost to upgrade ...
